Start Your Day with Sunrise Yoga

Many visitors to Ponte Vedra begin their mornings with stretching or yoga — a peaceful way to connect mind and body. For an especially memorable experience, practice your poses on one of Ponte Vedra’s beaches as the sun rises over the Atlantic.

North Beach at the GTM Research Reserve often offers a quiet, more secluded setting early in the morning, with convenient parking in the adjacent lot. After crossing A1A, follow the boardwalk to reach the beach. This beautiful stretch of coastline spans nearly four miles of open, undeveloped beachfront — giving you plenty of space to find your perfect spot and greet the day with balance and tranquility.

Be a Sustainable PVB Guest

As you enjoy your yoga experience, please help protect the natural beauty of Ponte Vedra’s beaches by practicing sustainability:

Stay on designated paths to avoid trampling sensitive plants and wildlife — these coastal environments are especially fragile.
Leave nothing behind and take only memories. Dispose of all trash properly and help keep these beaches pristine.
Visit during quieter times of the day or season to reduce crowding and minimize your impact.
Stop by the GTM Environmental Education Center to learn more about the unique ecosystems that make this area so special — and support their important conservation work.
