Bird Island Park
Bird Island Park is a St. Johns County park next to the Ponte Vedra Beach Branch Library. Bobby Weed designed it to show off the ecosystems of northeast Florida, with dune and wetland areas and native plants and animals.

What you’ll find
Level paths and a boardwalk loop around the pond. Turtles live in the water, and birds settle in the trees. Educational signs explain the native plants, and interactive art sculptures are placed around the park.
Families will find a playground and a hedge maze shaped like a sea turtle. Two gazebos, benches and picnic tables give you places to rest.
