The Bilotta Collection

A Treasure Trove of the Unexpected

Many museums showcase familiar exhibits—but not the Bilotta Collection. Nestled at A1A and Sawgrass Drive, this one-of-a-kind attraction houses vintage toys, rare tin robots, arcade machines, 1950s sci-fi rocket rides, full-size robots, iconic movie posters, and custom creations.

Step back in time with posters from classics like War of the Worlds and The Day the Earth Stood Still, or marvel at a fortune teller machine that once delighted visitors of all ages. With its mix of nostalgia and wonder, the Bilotta Collection is more “living gallery” than museum.

GTM Research Reserve

Nature’s Living Museum

Ponte Vedra’s lands, waterways, and ecosystems are as much a part of its cultural identity as its people. The Guana Tolomato Matanzas National Estuarine Research Reserve—often called Northeast Florida’s “best-kept secret”—protects more than 76,000 acres of conservation lands and waterways.

At the GTM Environmental Education Center, visitors encounter whales, sharks, and sea life suspended overhead, alongside interpretive exhibits that reveal the delicate balance of estuary life. A guided hike brings these lessons outdoors, offering firsthand encounters with the plants, animals, and natural features that define this coastal environment.

Beaches Museum

Preserving Coastal Heritage

Ponte Vedra’s stories come alive at the Beaches Museum, from golf’s rise and the mining era of “Mineral City” to the area’s role in World War II and Prohibition. Exhibits also celebrate the wildlife of Palm Valley.

Beyond displays, the museum’s events, archives, and exhibits bring Jacksonville’s beach communities—Mayport, Neptune Beach, Jacksonville Beach, Atlantic Beach, Ponte Vedra, and Palm Valley—to life. Every visit offers a fresh connection to the region’s past, present, and future.
