At the St. Johns County Chamber of Commerce’s Ponte Vedra Visitor Information Center, we are committed to ensuring that visiting families and individuals on the autism spectrum and with neurodiversities can confidently enjoy and discover our destination in a secure and accommodating setting.
Our dedicated team members have undergone specialized training to enhance their understanding and support of visitors with autism and sensory sensitivities. This training helps ensure a welcoming and informed experience for all visitors.
As a member of the International Board of Credentialing and Continuing Education Standards (IBCCES), the Ponte Vedra Visitor Information Center team is proud to have completed the online training and certification program designed to support families and individuals with special needs as they prepare for their vacations and visit our destination. Being a Certified Autism Travel Professional™ (CATP) means that our team has demonstrated expertise and proficiency in offering support and travel-related services to individuals on the autism spectrum and their families.
